Captain Marvel Official Trailer: Looks promising
Higher. Further. Faster. I believe Captain Marvel is not as mainstream as all the other Marvel heroes but the story line should be great. Have to confess I did not know about this character however I am not a Marvel universe enthusiast.
I found out about its existence after watching the end of Avengers Infinity war when Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) send out a beacon to Captain Marvel who is played by Brie Larson.
This initial trailer looks quite good, makes you want to know more about the origin story and the villains. Carol Danvers becomes one of the universe's most powerful heroes when Earth is caught in the middle of a galactic war between two alien races.
Marvel Studios’ Captain Marvel will be in theaters March 8, 2019.
Did you know about Captain Marvel?
Being a comics enthusiast/historian/dealer/collector and former writer... Yeah, I knew about her, as well as the many characters with the same name, as published by a few publishers (not just Marvel Comics) since December 1939 (cover-dated February 1940). The trailer does look good. I can't wait to see how many Marvel Comics versions from their Captain Marvels' checkered pasts get left out of the origin story.
